This exclusive decoration has been created to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s death.
The year 2026 also marks 175 years since Queen Victoria opened the Great Exhibition in 1851, where the British public were able to see the Koh-i-Noor diamond. The Great Exhibition showcased 100,000 exhibits from all over world, and by the time the it closed, it had attracted over 6 million visitors.
Queen Victoria reigned for 63 years, 7 months and 2 days. Her long reign was only surpassed by her great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth II.
Our beautiful Christmas decoration features a model of the crown commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1870. A diamond crown small enough to be worn above her widow's cap as she continued to mourn her late husband, Prince Albert. The resulting piece was an openwork silver frame set with 1,187 diamonds.
