David Brunwin was a gifted watercolour artist. During his lifetime he exhibited in many prestigious galleries and was an active member of the Wapping Art Group.
Hampton Court Palace which was originally built for Cardinal Wolsey and was later given as a gift to King Henry VIII after Wolsey fell from favour. Henry VIII later enlarged the palace and it is one of only two remaining palaces that the King owned; the other being St James' Palace.
