Part of our exclusive range, this gorgeous Sunken Garden Fan is the perfect accessory for those hot summer days.
The design features a delicate watercolour impression of the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace. The garden was created in 1908 at the instigation of King Edward VII, in an area of the gardens previously occupied by potting sheds and greenhouses.
During her time at Kensington Palace, Diana, Princess of Wales was particularly fond of the Sunken Garden. In 2017, to mark the 20th anniversary of her death, the palace gardeners transformed the space in her memory. Using flowers in white and soft pastel colours, the display took inspiration from the Princess’s wardrobe.
